Lake Road Welding

Since 1961, Lake Road Welding  has been providing structural steel fabrication as well as industrial and commercial applications from Wichita Falls, Texas, governed by our one and only, Donald Morgan. We provide you with only the best quality fabricated steel products. We have the capability and expertise to produce a complete line of structural steel products for industrial and commercial structures, from the most basic columns and beams, to complicated stairs, handrails and canopies.  All steel fabrication is done to meet or exceed the rigid specifications set forth by the American Institute of Steel Construction(AISC).   Our focus is custom detailing, plasma, TIG, and stick welding with a quick turn around. As a custom job shop, we have computerized and automated machines, complete design build services and perform general steel repair maintenance.

One of Lake Road Weldings main focus is Custom Fabrications. Steel Fabrication is a broad term referring to any process that cuts, shapes or molds steel into a final product.
Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), also known as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld.
Plasma welding is very similar to TIG welding as the arc is formed between a pointed tungsten electrode and the workpiece. However, by positioning the electrode within the body of the torch, the plasma arc can be separated from the shielding gas envelope.
Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), also known as manual metal arc welding (MMA or MMAW), flux shielded arc welding or informally as stick welding, is a manual arc welding process that uses a consumable electrode coated in flux to lay the weld.
